The 2023-2024 Preschool Lottery Application is Now Closed.

2023 Township of Ocean Preschool Lottery Important Dates and Information

In order to be considered for entrance into the preschool lottery you must meet the following criteria:
 - Resident of Ocean Township
 - Your child must be 3 or 4 years of age by October 15, 2023
(Born between October 16, 2019 and October 15, 2020)

When completing the lottery application the following documents must be submitted to ensure eligibility:
 - Proof of age: Original birth certificate with raised seal
 - Proof of residency:
   Homeowners: Current tax bill, mortgage statement, deed, current utility bill
   Renters: Current lease and current utility bill

Please pay attention to the following important dates and deadlines:

Friday, March 10, 2023 - Lottery applications are due by 12:00PM
- Please be sure to attach all supporting documentation

Thursday, March 16, 2023 - Lottery Selection at 10:00AM
- Location BOE Office Auditorium
- Zoom link will be provided to parents who wish to participate virtually.

Wednesday, March 22, 2023 - Parent notification
- Email and regular mail regarding placement into the program or wait list status.

Wednesday, March 22, 2023 - Registration opens
- By registering you are accepting your spot into the preschool program.
- If  you do not wish to accept your spot please let us know as soon as possible so that we can select the next child on the waiting list.

Friday, April 21, 2023 - Registration closes
- You must register your child by this date in order to accept your spot in the lottery.
- If you do not register, your child will be dropped from the list and the next child on the waiting list will receive their spot.
