The Township of Ocean Schools Parent Academy Brochure 2022-2023 REVISED

Please note that our Parent Academy Brochure has been revised because we had to change the dates of three of our presentations due to conflicts with our district's Board of Education meetings.  Parent who had already signed up for the cancelled meetings will be notified by email and will have to sign up again for the new date.  All presentations are virtual.

The changes are as follows:

"Introduction to the Preschool Curriculum" was scheduled for Tuesday February 7, 2023.  It is now Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 6:30PM.

"The IEP Process and the Components" was scheduled for Tuesday, March 7, 2023.  It is now on Monday, March 20, 2023 @ 6:30PM.

"Facilitating Early Language & Fine Motor Skills" was scheduled for Tuesday, May 9, 2023.  It is now on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 @ 6:30PM.


The Ocean Township Department of Special Services is very excited to announce our Parent Academy.

We have developed several informative sessions that may be of interest, all centering around areas of your child's special education services. The sessions are virtual to allow for maximum participation. Please take some time to review the Parent Academy Brochure and click on the link to sign up for as many workshops as you would like to attend.

You will receive an email the day before each presentation with the Google Meet link which will allow you to access the presentation. Please let me know if you have an interest in a topic that is not listed and we will do our best to create a learning opportunity around it in the near future.
